Rose Marie Watts Robbins, age 85, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. She was born in Prichard, AL to the union of Judon and Mildred Watts. Rose received her formal education at Vigor High School in Prichard, AL. She furthered her education at Meridian Community College where she studied nursing and obtained her Registered Nursing degree. Rose was married to Joseph Robbins on July 31, 1954 in Lucedale, MS. Their union was blessed with 4 children. She was employed by Thomas Hospital in Fairhope as a Registered Nurse. In her leisure, she enjoyed gardening, decorating and shopping. Rose was a member of the Historical Society of Citronelle, AL, Dirt Diggers Garden Club of Birmingham and President of Citronelle Garden Club.

Rose Marie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Judon Watts and Mildred Brunson Watts; sister, Memory Elaine Biggs, and husband, Joseph F. Robbins.

She leaves to cherish her memory 4 children, Deborah K. Robbins (Joe), Mark L. Robbins (Judy), Rebecca R. Willcutt (Christopher), and Joseph Timothy Robbins; grandchildren, Alexandra L. Abangan (Brett), Shelby P. Robbins, Lauren L. Roberts (Price), AnnaRose A. Thomas (Nathaniel), Joseph Lansing Robbins; one great-grandchild, Wyatt Henderson.

A Memorial Service will be held for Rose at 1pm Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, AL with Dr. Elbert Charpie officiating. Precious memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.freemancitronelle.com for the Robbins family. In honor of Rose Marie, the family asks that donations be made to Two by Two Rescue.
