Mrs. Nell D. Martin, 74, a resident of Osyka, died at her residence on Sunday, November 20, 2022.

The family will receive friends from 10am until the 12pm funeral service Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Perkins officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

She was born August 15, 1948 in Tylertown, Mississippi, the daughter of the late O B and Annie Merle Simmons Davis.

She was a retired registered dietician, attended Stateline United Pentecostal Church, and was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and canning and had a love for hummingbirds and spent many hours watching them. She loved her friends and family dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Opey Martin and one sister, Lola Wallace.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Larry Martin of Tylertown; one son, Michael Martin and wife, Wendy, of Tibbie, Alabama; one daughter, Holly Stagner of Tylertown; four grandchildren Rebecca and husband, Trey, Lillie; Levi and wife, Jordan, Martin; Skye Stagner; and Olivia Martin; two Great-grandchildren T.J. Lillie and Elijah Lillie.

Pallbearers will be Levi Martin, Shane Stringer, David Perkins, Andy Cooper, Chuck McDaniel and Grady Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne New, Bruce Lovett, Toby Griffin, Wayne "Pete" Smith, Jimmy Ray Martin and Robert Taylor.
