Joe William Stewart, a resident of Vinegar Bend, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, at his home. He was 83 years old. Joe was a welder for over 40 years and a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Pentecostal Church. In his spare time, he loved being in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping. Joe also loved to play music and was a talented bass player, guitar player, and singer. Most of all, Joe loved spending time with his family. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 62 years, Nancy Stewart; children, Theresa Johnston (James), Emma Jo Dearman (Gene), Melinda Crager (Greg), and Charles Stewart (Joyce); nine grandchildren, Joseph, Lee, James, Terry, Austin, Charlie, Chrislynn, Kayla, and Chase; thirteen greatgrandchildren; siblings, Frances Inez Rube and Kenny Stewart; other relatives; and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Mt. Pisgah Pentecostal Church with Bro. Frankie Dunn and Bro. Justin Layva officiating.
