Theresa Virginia Weaver, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Springhill Medical Center. She was 78 years old. She loved church and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed planting flowers and gardening. Theresa was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Weaver; children, William Matthew and Kenneth Underwood; grandchildren, Wilbur ''Dude'' Weaver and Taylor Weaver; siblings, George Lipscomb, Maylone Weaver, and Bobby Lipscomb.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Eula ''Mae'' Rivers (Wayne), Glenda Weaver (Thary), Lola Weaver, Mike Weaver, and Chris Weaver (Tamie); twelve grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; mother, Hattie V. Sullivan; many loving sisters and brothers; other relatives; and many friends.

A wake will be held for Theresa from 6pm until 9pm Monday, April 18, 2022, at Rivers of Living Water Church. The funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Rivers of Living Water Church with Rev. Eddie Rivers and Rev. Wilbert Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Byrd Cemetery.
