Leslie Dennie Morgan

Leslie Dennie Morgan, a resident of Calvert, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He was 89 years old. Leslie served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Leslie also worked at Bender's Shipyard for 30 years as a supervisor. He was a very family-oriented man who always made sure they were taken care of. He was a hardworking man who was very proud of his sons and daughter. He loved to brag about their accomplishments. Leslie was a loving man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Leslie was preceded in death by his wife, Adell Morgan; his daughter, Janet Beasley; and granddaughter, Rhonda Kenley.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Larry Morgan (Sherry) and Steve Morgan (Gina); nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Calvert Cemetery.
