I served in the armed forces.
Larry Earl Simison, Jr., a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, August 03, 2022, at SAAD Hospice Facility. He was 76 years old. Larry served in the United States Marine Corps. He was an active member of many organizations in his hometown of Mount Vernon, and served as the Worshipful Master of the Joe Southall Masonic Lodge #905 F&AM.
He loved his family very much and was charismatic, at times incredibly sarcastic (he'd call it witty), with a big heart. He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Linda Simison; and his parents, Laurence and Judy Simison.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tracy Simison and Brett J. Simison; grandchildren, Tyler, Ashton, Whitney, Connor, Charlotte; sisters, Judy Lewis, Penny Platt, and Sherri Carney; other relatives and friends.
A wake will be held from 5 pm - 8 pm, Saturday August 6, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2pm Sunday, August 07, 2022 at Mount Vernon Community Cemetery with Bro. Bruce McDavid and Bro. Denny McDavid officiating. Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com. Freeman Funeral Home - Citronelle, Alabama

Mrs. Judy and the rest of Larry's family, I am so sad about Larry. We worked together for years. Yes, he was witty.😀
I have always said he was someone you would want in your corner. He would be the first person to offer help if needed on or off the job.
