Frank Colvin Reed, 82, passed away February 4, 2021, at Springhill Memorial Hospital. He was born December 2, 1938 to Billy and Eliza Reed. Frank served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a hard worker having held jobs at Ciba-Geigy for 25 years, Quick Delivery for 15 years and Furmanite for 10 years. He was member of Chunchula Baptist Church and a former member of Reed’s Chapel Baptist Church. Frank was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Football fan. His greatest joy was his family. Left to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years Annie Reed; children, Vicky Cameron (Lee), Dwayne Reed (Lori) and Rodney Reed (Kimberly); grandchildren, Meredith, Zac, Scott, Joshua, Jacob, Isabella and Jordyn; great grand kids; sister, Carlis Taylor; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Friday, February 5, 2021 from 6pm to 9pm at Freeman Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2pm, Saturday February 6, 2021 at Reed’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. I remember the time when you took me too my first Alabama football game,from then on i've been hooked and you can bet your spirit will always continue,I will always watch with passion thinking of you!
