Voncile Middleton Little, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at her home. She was 80 years old. Voncile retired from the State of Alabama Department of Mental Health at Searcy Hospital with 33 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, baking, reading, shopping, watching the news and westerns.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Clarence O. and Daisy B. Middleton; husband, Zane Little; son, Rory ''Bubba'' Little; and siblings, Harold Middleton, Clarence E. Middleton, Charles Middleton, John Keith Middleton, Paul Middleton, Lucy Brown, Mildred Lewis, and Irma McConnell.

Left to cherish Voncile's memory include her daughter, Darleen Miller (Corbin); grandchildren, Tiffany Black (Payden) and Logan Little (Brittany); greatgrandchildren, Gavin, Kaitlyn, Payton Lauren, and Dawson; devoted siblings, Terry Middleton (Sandra) and Deborah Johnson; loving nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the Kare In Home Hospice team: Maggie, Stephanie, April, Leshala, Nancy, Tiffany, Sharon, and Pastor Tony Legear.

The family will receive friends from 11am until the 12pm memorial service Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Perkins officiating. Donations may be made to Lockler Memorial Baptist Church, 18995 St. Stephens Road, Mount Vernon, Alabama 36560.
