Carroll "Butch" Benard Harvell, Sr
August 28, 1955 - February 11, 2023

Carroll Benard ''Butch'' Harvell, Sr., a resident of Eight Mile, Alabama, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his home. He was 67 years old. Butch has been in the auto paint and body repair business his whole life, having started out working with his dad and grandfather at a young age. His expertise mentored many people in paint and body repair. In his spare time, Butch enjoyed drinking coffee, watching racing, and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sandi Diamond Harvell; children, Butch Harvell, Jr. (Kelsie), Bradley Harvell (Emily), Blake Harvell (Sumer), Brittney Green (Joseph), Kimberly Carraway (Tony), and Brandon Harvell (Emily); step-children, Alison Pelfrey (Daniel) and Brent Pelfrey (Brandy); twenty-three grandchildren; mother, Annie Jean Williams; siblings, Paul Jacob Harvell, III (Toni), Linda White (Paul), Paula Rich (Craig), and Angela Watson; other relatives; and friends.

A wake will be held for Butch from 5pm until 8pm Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Forest Hill Church of God. The funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, February 17, 2023, at Forest Hill Church of God with Rev. Daniel Blaylock and Rev. Brandon Harvell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
