Dock was preceded in death by his parents, Polly and Burl Sullivan; sister, Mary Mizell; brother, Ernest Sullivan; daughter, Tammie Ward; great grandchildren, Kelsey Matus and Hudson Brewer.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 38 years, Loria Sullivan; sons, Chuck Sullivan (Mona), Gregory Baxter (Janice Elaine), and Mark Davis; daughters, Tresa Sullivan Hutchison (Dannie), Cigi Davis, Lorna Hayes (Jeremy), Polly Sullivan (Ken), and Briana Davis; siblings, Pauline Chestang (Thomas) and Tom Smith (Cherry); thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.
A wake will be held for Dock from 6pm until 9pm Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Home Gospel Church with Rev. Mount Vernon, AL Monday, August 29, 2022 My condolences 💐 to my sweet friend & her family for I was only able to meet your father a few times in his late years along with your beautiful mother, but this family never not welcomed or cared for you genuinely.They were very God fearing and made you feel just about whole walking through their doors.
May God continue to guide, strengthen, and renew your family’s energy and will to continue on in life and to give you knowledge to know that God is of him & for your father is now bestowed & restored upon Holy Grounds and has and new eternal life that he will be free from all pain suffering and sorrows he had upon this earthly world we call home.
