Lottie Virginia Reed, a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, May 23, 2022. She was 79 years old. Lottie was a member of Liberty Holiness Church and in her spare time she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Her proudest moments were going back to school in her 60s to get her GED. Lottie was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wilson Reed; six brothers and six sisters; and her parents, Chris and Emma Weaver.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Carl V. Reed; children, Jimmy Reed (Angela), Harvey Reed (Marsha), and Tosha Chestang (B.J.); ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.

A wake will be held for Lottie beginning at 6pm Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Magnolia Holiness Church. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Magnolia Holiness Church with Rev. Lester Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Hillspring Cemetery.
