Larry "MOWA" Wayne Reed
November 3, 1952 - April 25, 2022

Larry Wayne Reed ''MOWA'', a resident of Citronelle, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at his home. He was 69 years old. Larry was born in Deer Park, Alabama, November 03, 1952. He drove a log truck for many years and was a longtime member of Magnolia Holiness Church. Larry was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Clauzelle Reed and Bernice Weaver; brothers, Coy Lane Chestang and Ricky Dewayne Reed; sister, Karen Sue Huggins; and son-in-law, Frankie Gardner.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Josephine Reed; daughter, Rosie Amelia Gardner; sons, Joseph I. Reed, Sr. (Beverly) and Burnzy Reed (Bridgette); brothers, David Chris Reed (Darlene), James Franklin Weaver (Irene), Bobby Dewayne Weaver; sisters, Yvonne Knowles, Cassie Davis (Bill), Sharon Michael, and Cathy Reed (Rusty); thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one uncle, four aunts, and a host of nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

A wake will be held for Larry beginning at 6pm Friday, April 29, 2022, at Magnolia Holiness Church. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Magnolia Holiness Church.
