My condolences to the family. May God continue to give you the strength to get through this difficult time.

My connection to Ms. Sandy was through our sons playing soccer together at Satsuma High School. Sandy was the ultimate soccer mom! Always there for every game, supporting Hunter and his teammates 100 percent. Sometimes the only parent supplying snacks and drinks for the team. Immediately upon meeting her, there was no mistake that she was a woman of faith. A very compassionate and loving spirit. I want Hunter and his family to know that you all are in our prayers and we are here anytime for anything you need. May God be with you through this difficult time. Lisa, Alex and Lexie Lopez.

    Believers Who Have Died

13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

I only met Sandy a few times, at events our company was involved in. In the short time I was able to talk to her I could tell what a sweet, loving person she was. Wes always speaks about all the dresses and other products she would sew and how happy and blessed she felt to do what she enjoyed.

    Wesley, Ilena & Hunter,

We were so saddened to hear of Sandy's passing. We have known Sandy since before Ilena was born; she was a good neighbor and friend. She was so creative, her whole face always lit up when she smiled, and she had the bubbliest personality. We are quite sure she never met a stranger and was quick to pitch in a helping hand wherever she could.

When we gave our kids the news, each one has responded in disbelief. Tara said, "That is one lady that will have some medals around her neck in Heaven," and the others agreed.

We realize that nothing anyone can say will lessen the depth of your sorrow but, please know that others care deeply. You are all in our thoughts and prayers now and in the coming days and weeks.

My sweet cousin married you and you became my sweet, sweet cousin. You will be missed and will forever be in our hearts. Thank you Wesley Lewis for bringing this beautiful soul and her children into our lives. Thank you Hunter and Ilena for having her heart. Praying God will continue to fill your days as He did hers.
