Darcy Ayers left this life on November 21, 2022, at Crowne Healthcare of Citronelle. Darcy was 80 years old and was surrounded by loved ones and friends at the time of passing.
To sum up Darcy Ayer's life in only a few paragraphs would be an impossible task - but on we're still willing to try. Darcy was born in New Jersey on the bright and sunny day of January 4, 1942. Darcy's favorite hobbies were traveling the world, planting flowers, reading, listening to music, watching the birds and squirrels, writing loved ones, and talking to friends and family on the phone.
In Darcy's younger years, she loved to travel and visit her family and friends. During her travels, she met and fell in love with Bruce Ayers, who she later went on to marry. Once married, they settled down in COnnecticut where they lived for many years until they decided to retire to Naples, Florida, and then later to settle in Citronelle, Alabama. Darcy treasured her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Darcy is preceded in death by her loving parents and is survived by her husband, Bruce Ayers; her daughter, Tracey Sanborn; and three grandchildren, Keeton, Xavier, and Stephanie.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Crowne Healthcare of Citronelle for the love and care they provided Darcy during her final years.
