Judy Carol Carter
December 21, 1950 - September 21, 2022

Judy Weninegar Carter, a caring mother, loving JuJu, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022, at the age of 71 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born to James and Juanita Weninegar on December 21, 1950. After graduating high school, she attended college and obtained a degree in teaching. Throughout her teaching career, she was known for organizing folders with labels, creating Excel spreadsheets for everything, and having the ability to lead others. During her 35 years of education, she developed some of her most lasting friendships.
On June 2, 1978, she married Jimmy Dale Carter and had two children, Jeff and Jony. Love was abundant throughout her life in the way she loved God, cared for others, and was a well-loved member of the community.

Judy is survived by her two children, Jeff (Kathryn) Carter and Jony (Will) Parker; five precious grandchildren, Jackson Carter, Shelby Parker, Claire Parker, Zachary Carter, and Reese Parker; her sisters, Jane Alford and Jeanie (Bruce) Andrews; in-laws, Janet Weninegar, Bill (Carolyn) Carter, and Joe (Jeanette) Carter; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Andrews, Ken Andrews, Jason Andrews, Chris Weninegar, Clint Weninegar, Jed Weninegar, Joel Weninegar, Ethan Jordan, Matthew Jordan, and Chris Carter. Honorary pallbearers are the Coffeeville High School Class of 1969.
