John Lawrence Crawford, Jr.

John Lawrence Crawford, Jr., a resident of Sims Chapel, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He was 67 years old. He worked as a maintenance mechanic/crane operator at Ciba for over 40 years before retiring. John loved the outdoors, especially being on the river just about every weekend. He also loved camping, fishing, and traveling in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Penny Crawford; and parents, John and Jean Crawford.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, John D. Crawford and Chrissy Jones (Billy); grandchildren, John Rylan, Mya, Haley, Brittaney, and Jessica; and other relatives and friends.
